     Currently reading up on what happened to Vichy collaborators like Laval and Pétain and all their underlings after the war. "How will I survive if the fascists win?" is not a question you should ask yourself. Instead, let it be "Am I willing to be executed for assisting in crimes against universal rights out of sheer cowardice?" Because they won't let you sit on the ass of your morality and wait it out. You'll be snitching on your neighbors, and probably getting them killed, at the least.
