     Also, that site doesn't seem to be free to me, as it refuses to show me anything unless I (was to) run proprietary JavaScript.

     @Suiseiseki They are free, so effectively CC0 1.0 Universal.

     The badges are free to download. Ko-Fi does however allow donations if a person wishes to support an artist.

     You shouldn't need anything special to access the Ko-Fi site as far as I'm aware.

     @andycarolan Unfortunately, the government automatically restricts all creative works published, making them proprietary, even if the author doesn't intend that to happen and provides them gratis.
     
     If you want a creative work to be free, you have to explicitly license them under a free license like the CC0 1.0 Universal.
     
     Ko-Fi is cloudflared, which often blocks access to users using "haram" IP's, determined by unknown mechanisms.
     
     On that site, all I get is; "Enable JavaScript and cookies to continue", which means that cloudflare won't let me see the website unless I run their proprietary JavaScript and install their tracking cookies.
