     @SuperDicq tfw I regularly use ed to add/remove/change lines (screwed things up with shell redirection and cat(1) enough).
     And it's the editor I tend to use on Plan9 as acme feels weird to me and sam isn't ed/vi-like enough (maybe I'll port/remake vis for Plan9 at one point, going full circle).

     @SuperDicq For example on my laptop:

     # fc -l 0 | grep -c 'ed ' 175 # fc -l 0 | grep -c 'vis ' 1280

     Definitely not my main editor, but I'd be a bit annoyed if I had to use a ~fullscreen editor in cases where I'd need to go back and forth between terminal backlog and edition.

     @lanodan @SuperDicq That is the reason I stick to vim and don't use nvim: :! shows the previous terminal, does not create a new one.
