   @mischievoustomato @allison Wanting to buy a laptop and going for Acer is like wanting to buy a printer and going for HP, its actually even worse because HP's engineering is solid but it's generally going to fuck you over in the long run especially user experience wise

     @meso @mischievoustomato No, HP is still worse. I have bought Acer products (after research) and they have been completely reliable for me after extensive use. I can't say the same about HP. (granted, I've also seen the inside of that particular sausage factory so I'm biased there)

     @allison @mischievoustomato @meso The extreme few HP laptops I've bought at work all had weird graphic issues with their bullshit internal graphics + graphic card working in tandem thing
