     @niavy @jeffowski i commend you. It blows my mind how so many people call themselves Christians but choose to follow the opposite route and vex others.
     I believe it has a lot to do with pride coming from a false sense of self worth, which makes them think they're better than others because they sit in a temple on Sunday for an hour or so.
     Two faced is what they are. Worshiping God inside the temple, and attacking His creation outside.

     If you have a guy sitting at a table with ten Nazis, what do you have?
     A table with eleven Nazis.
     You cannot claim to not be one of the "Bad Christians" when you've taken up their banner and side with them when you vote, when you shop, and when you want to be charitable. Just because you don't side with them on who to hate, doesn't mean you aren't "number 11"

     I TOTALLY AGREE that's why I used the expression "homosexual acts". While I don't agree with those people way of life, I will NEVER disrespect, insult or punch 'em.
     In fact, I was one of the few, if not the only one, to be friendly&respectful towards "the faggot" (as he was called by many) in college. Many if not all were criticising him behind his back, I wasn't.

     As far as I can remember, I was even the only one that was often AND WILLINGLY eating with him at the refectory.

     @niavy @jeffowski agreed. Now, where does it say to hate them or be intolerant towards them? The same new testament says to LOVE everyone, to live in peace with everyone:

     1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

     Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

     There is NO JUSTIFICATION to not love everyone or to be intolerant.

     @niavy @jeffowski here's the situation. The Old Testament does prohibit these (every single one of them).
     Now, the new testament does not forbid eating whatever (except blood), or selling land. It does look down on charging interest. This is why I fully agree with @jeffowski . The new testament, which is what Christians are supposed to follow, instructs us to LOVE EVERYONE the same. But TOO many so-called Christians display hate and intolerance towards many segregated groups. See the problem?

     INcorrecto, esto es antigo testamiento, si uno no es judeo, no necesita seguir. Pero el nuevo testamiento, escrito por y para nuevos cristianos, también proíbe eso.

     They get lumped in with the racists.

     If you claim to be a Christian, YOU OWN ALL OF IT, not the cherry-pick the parts you want to.

     @niavy @jeffowski dude, can't you see that's exactly what he wants, to get to you so that you reply in a way that he can point his finger at you? Dont give him the satisfaction. We know who we are, we know who we serve, and more importantly, our God knows. I mean, really, how does that affect us? For anything to damage us, even if from someone who chooses to not believe in God, God still needs to give his permission or it doesn't happen.

     It's very different because of Karl Popper's Paradox of Tolerance.
     I want EVERYONE to do well. Not just Christians and not just Atheists. But if you look at the Paradox of Tolerance, it contradicts directly any religion that prefers one group of people over others (chosen ones). Christians here in the US vote to persecute LGBTQ people. Even if you're not voting with them, you are going to church with them. You still side with them. You still tithe to them.

     @jeffowski @niavy I'm honestly curious. @niavy and I have not once insulted you, or anyone else for that matter. We've expressed our opinions and beliefs in a very respectful, and even somewhat comical manner. Think about it, other than bias, what possible reason could you really have to vex any of us? Your bad experience with other people that belong to one religion or another? I've nothing against you, really, and you have no reason to have anything against us, since you don't know us.

     Again, claiming to be Christian (but not the "bad" ones) is like waving a Tennessee Battle Flag (Confederate Flag) and claim it is southern heritage and not racism.
     I see very little of the "good christians" doing anything substantive about the "bad christians" while continuing to do all the destructive things but still claiming to be one of the "good christians."

     Sorry, not sorry. Every actual "Good Christian" sees this and becomes an Atheist.

     @jeffowski @niavy @goinfawr let's get this out of the way: good Christians don't exist. Different types of Christians? Absolutely. I never claimed to be good. I'm full of flaws. Do I visit the same temples? Evidently. Do I follow everything they say (leadership or otherwise)? Nope. I'm considered a revel among my congregation, because if I disagree with something, I just won't do it, period. Again man, I've nothing against you, and all you have against me is that I'm a christian.
