@bobjonkman We could also have used our iso2 code, "CA" (i.e. CApoli), but Americans probably already use that for California politics, so the full iso3 code made more sense.

Maybe they could use causpol or something, but these things just grow organically and it's more important to use something that works than insisting on being in the right.
@david_megginson @bobjonkman but they shouldn't, and resigning because someone else is doing things wrong is something you shouldn't do unless it's a last resort. Are you at that point already?
@clacke There's more Californians than Canadians, and they have no less legitimate a claim to the two letters, so yeah. Probably not worth fighting that windmill
