   @tillybridges @itsjustjenn Interesting thing to discuss! In my case, I'm a master of transference, so I'd go around being a huge advocate for people around me changing their bodies in any way they wanted while convincing myself that surely *I* don't need that.

   Then I got a tattoo. It's a tattoo of a kitsune fox sitting in tea ceremony, desperately trying to keep its tail tucked in its kimono.

   And I cared for the tattoo better than the rest of me and cried explaining it to others.

     BODILY AUTONOMY

     A strange thing can happen when you're trans and don't know it... you never feel like your body belongs to you.

     So you can't understand why anyone would want to make changes to their bodies, and goodness did that all change for me after transition.

     And my tattoo is one hundred percent wrapped up in my transition.
