   @davidaugust @Beeks i might have missed one number or added one number twice but ended up at 22,900. Might be worth rechecking the addition?

     @davidaugust we moved our family to North Dakota in 2021 from Arizona and it's maps like this that really help me feel like it was the best choice. Sure it's cold, but we have very little Covid and no school shootings so I'll take it.

     @davidaugust BTW, not sure where you get 41k deaths. My math says 18,360. (340million population times 5.4/100k)

     Your calculation used the base number for more than the last 3 months.

     Add up the numbers by state and territory from the link, you’ll get 41,033.

     Or the shorter answer: I got the number by using addition.
