   @nivrig Same movie for me, at about the same age. I was staying over at my Granny’s and was therefore allowed to stay up much later than Mum allowed.

   Just to add to my terror, the neighbours’ cat jumped up to the outside windowsill and put the heart clean out of me.

     @shezza_t @nivrig @selzero I was cool with Alien and Aliens at around 10 or 11, but Howard the Duck absolutely creeped me out.

     @selzero I think Alien, when I was 10, and watched it late one stormy Halloween night when I was supposed to be asleep.

     The storm kept the curtains moving all night, which was obviously because there was an Alien hiding behind them.

     I was asked what the first movie that ever scared me was.

     It's impossible for me to say. Go far enough back and memories of movies blur into a single thing.

     I can say it was black and white and had Peter Cushing in it.
