     Or does the API fuckery mean bulk deletion is prevented also

     @mcc I used this one last time I did it https://github.com/j0be/PowerDeleteSuite. It is a bookmarklet so it comes from your browser. It edits the posts to garble them before deleting them. I haven't tried it since the API changes but I think it should still work.
