     @alex@ak.kawen.space @Paradox@raru.re these days i'm shameless enough that i won't listen, and while i'm too shy to tell them otherwise when told directly one-on-one, i usually can't hold myself back when they're preaching to five other people on a dining table on a family reunion for a birthday, holiday, or something like that.
     
     my sister now knows better, but i'm always afraid she will open her mouth and start preaching dumb shit.

     @alex@ak.kawen.space @Paradox@raru.re i'm there too. i realize why people keep the age of consent to an unnaturally high level (when without medicine a huge portion of people could have died already before arriving at 18), but i don't understand people who straight up tell you to stop those urges completely.
     
     my dad used to try to guess when i was at the laptop watching porn and just said without looking at me at the eye and immediately closing the door "i want you to stop looking at that" and one time i just turned the laptop around to show him i was watching a Perfume concert
     
     i mean. some of these times i was looking at porn, but DAMMIT. WHY DO YOU CARE IN THE FIRST PLACE

     @Paradox I get that agency for consent is impossible to truly establish due to the phenomenological nature of the psyche, and therefore the best approximation that can be made in law is some kind of age limit (unless you want people to have to take a test for a SEX LOICENSE)
     
     But the lengths that people will go to in order to deny the existence of "underage" or even childhood sexuality are unbelievable, especially since the psychic presence of these drives in even young children is so firmly established. It doesn't matter how uncomfortable it makes adults, children will try masturbating from a young age anyway, little boys will develop sexual fixations on their teenager babysitters, etc.
     
     It's just funny. I remember being 12 years old and absolutely desperately tying to get 16 year old girls to let me touch their tits. I managed to get one at a summer camp to pull my face into her chest and I was popping off to the memory of it for MONTHS afterwards. Yet now that I'm an adult I'm supposed to, what, regard those memories with shame? Put them in a box and pretend nothing happened? Paint myself as psychologically abnormal simply because my sexuality woke up with my teenage hormones?
     
     What a load of cowardly fucking bullshit! What a load of crap! Pull the veil back on the psyche and all kinds of uncomfortable repressed shit comes to light. And yet the "decent" thing is to do what? Ignore it? Fucking weak! Fucking stupid.
