   Reminder set:

   1. There's no housing shortage, rather over 5 vacant homes exist for every single homeless person.

   2. 90% of rental units in the USA aren't disabled accessible

   3. The SSI maximum of under $850/month isn't enough for renting a 1 bedroom apartment to be 30% of in any part of the USA (and as SSI is adjusted down for any& all household members with money's, this really is "it")

   4. Wages haven't risen with housing costs in over 35 years.

   5. 20% of the population is disabled

   6. Most public poverty aide centers aren't disabled accessible

   7. Most homeless people aren't substance abusers/addicts.

   8. The real unemployed adult rate has varied from 34-40% for the past 20 years.

     @BrahmaBelarusian even SSDI PLUS a part time job was not enough income for me to qualify to rent an $850 one bedroom apartment in shitty NH.

     @maggiemaybe *Nods* The average 1 bedroom apartment in the USA is about $1700/month, and average size is 900 square feet, (source https://www.rentcafe.com/average-rent-market-trends/us/ )
     so you're far from alone!
