I am a pretty boring VT ETF investor, but for some reason I just couldn't invest in it since 2023.
Today I realised why ... I have lost confidence in the security of my investments after seeing how the US could freeze Russian people's assets, including their investments. So, I must be subconsciously thinking - what if the US does this to my investments in the future, if Msia pisses US off? So
not sure if I should continue with $VT or just dump $ into Malaysian retirement funds now. 😅

Just that it is Vanguard, an American company. I don't think Malaysia has anything to worry about but since we are in South East Asia, it is hard to say these days.
