     @RustyCrab the boomers who teach c++ in the average state universities are extremely out of touch with the current state of the language. most of them live in a fantasy pre-c++11, OOP centric world and teach really outdated programming concepts to students. it's really bad.

     @BowsacNoodle @icst the debate around OOP is really messy but 99% of all problems are avoided by simply never using inheritance.
