@mike I love seeing this. Really happy you're already enjoying your time with it!
@mike Please share those!
Rediscovering all the old wired headphone tricks to keep it out of your way.
@copey @mike Thanks for the suggestion about cord through the shirt, Mike! I'm planning to take it on my bike rides with an iPod arm strap, and the slightly long cord on my Sennheisers might be challenging...
And Copey, pleasure to meet another PlexAmp fan! Once I discovered how magical the Sonic Analysis features could be, I bought a lifetime Plex pass.
@mike @killyourfm cord through your shirt is the way to go! the wired headphones was the hardest part for me when trying to go back to an iPod as a daily driver. ultimately I settled into Plexamp, but I still fiddle with all the iPods I collected regularly. I did end up buying a bluetooth adapter, but it was so fragile and would drop connectivity walking with it in my pocket or refuse to pair to my headphones..
@killyourfm running the cord through your shirt is the biggest one.
And if you just want one headphone in, you run the cord through your shirt, one earbud in one ear, the other earbud goes over your other shoulder. So the cord to your device goes down the front and the unused earbud is held up by your shirt and shoulder.
I think those are really it, but when I thought of them, it brought me back to listening to my iPod in high school.
@copey @mike The built-in (modded) Bluetooth option DOES exist, and I've seen a couple glowing reviews about the kit offered through https://moonlit.market/
@copey @killyourfm I bought a Bluetooth adapter, too, but the maximum volume with my AirPods is just too low. And for some reason the balance is off — the right AirPod is way quieter than the left with the adapter I bought.
@mike @killyourfm yeah! it's too bad that option isn’t a better experience, a classic iPod with wireless headphones is the dream.
