Normalize being gay but not telling anyone except potential partners or if it comes up in conversation

@creamqueen I want to add, the ones who want to be seen absolutely HATE the ones who do not want to be seen. if you are a gay person and you disagree with things like queer theory or drag queen story hour or sexual reassignment surgery, the circus freaks treat you much worse than they would treat an evangelical politician who calls for the execution of gay people. the clowns think that the more normal-acting gay people are a very serious threat. "always kill a traitor before an enemy, jimbo."

@creamqueen a lot of gay people develop a complex when they grow up. they see queens in public or on tv being extremely annoying dressed like clowns and they think "I'm not like that, I must be special." many stay in the closet out of sheer embarrassment and become gaycels. they feel alienated and isolated. this is mainly why the annoying ones are behind the wheel driving queer theory with their activism. most of the gay people who aren't going out of their way to be seen are not inclined to participate in activism or advocate for themselves as a group.
