     Because this game is daunting at first, Paul’s hints / personal rules for making it fun:

     - Do use online resources; make it a research game
     - Don’t copy & search the word itself
     - Do copy and search characters from the IPA (the phonetic symbols)
     - Use •all• available information: script, phonology, continent, language family, and geography
     - Use the map, and note: the UI doesn’t show map direction accurately (arrow doesn’t match the projection), so take the arrow as vague general direction
