     and the reaction has been reduced dollars and support for those things, which is a good thing
     
     so really i guess we owe the nut jobs a thank you, i just wish they'd all get to the topping themselves part sooner than later

     @BowsacNoodle I revisited a particular scene and saw that the trannies who've come to run everything are mostly regulars from the old days, and not commissars or entryists bent on asserting political control.

     At least, not initially.

     They became forum moderators as confused young men, and probably assumed further control as the older guys moved on to family and career stuff, becoming ideologically trannified along the way.

     And then at some point the forum rules change, the software has pronouns added to it and— oops, somehow the mods and admins are all faggots! Various regulars made their last stand for being able to express sane ideas in the "off topic" area and got banned. The rest either agree or hold their noses.

     tl;dr the communities around these hobbies lacked "gatekeeping" even when it was legal to do so. The ideological vacuum was filled with trannyism.
