     @TURBORETARD9000 @RedTechEngineer it'll be way cheaper to produce but that doesn't mean that clothing will be any cheaper. The incentive for switching from cotton to cannabis is increasing corporate profits

     @RedTechEngineer because all the demand is for cotton so it's sort of a speciality item. However work is being done to treat hemp fibers so they can be processed as cotton allowing the sourcing of fibers to be cannabis but all the existing machinery for processing cotton industrially can be used instead of having to be reinvented and recreated.

     @sjw @RedTechEngineer @TURBORETARD9000 I own a cariloha brand shirt which is made of bamboo viscose. It's semi synthetic since they process it a ton to turn it into usable cellulose, but it's very soft. I bet they can do similar with cannabis stalk.

     @sjw @RedTechEngineer @TURBORETARD9000 I bet it isn't that hard for small batches and the challenge is industrialized production for consistent quality. Much of the work is likely physically separating things and properly filtering the resulting product before treatments.
