     @killyourfm what size battery are you using? The standard 650mAh or something larger?

     The one I ordered from eoe.works is coming tomorrow and I got the 2000mAh option.

     3 problems:
     1) My phone doesn't have a headphone jack.
     2) My phone doesn't have 512GB of storage.
     2) Any modern phone is STILL going to die much sooner than "forever." There's no way it will last as long as this thing is going to.

     4. Listen to music for forever

     Bonus step: remember that laptops went black after 20 minutes in the good old days.

     @weiln I would indeed say that! Although, confession: I'm cheating a little. This particular iPod Classic now has a 1900mAh battery and 512GB of flash storage (no spinning drive)!

     @justforfun Why can't you sync it? I guarantee it should still work. If it's older macOS, iTunes should support it. If it's newer macOS, you sync it right in the Finder.
