Dawg, I never called you my comrade. I'd like to think that I have better taste in allies than associating with folks who will literally accuse me of spreading "election lies" when I state the clear and obvious fact that American elections are rigged for rich people. A fact that can in fact be proven, empirically, by a simple google search which will reveal many respected LIBERAL scholars saying the exact same thing I am in more flowery words.

We ain't comrades. Go fuck yourself.

      While we're at it:
Propaganda starts with words. Weasel words with a very specific meaning, narrowing down your view on specific matters so that the obvious fades into obscurity and certain paths of thinking are barred right from the start.

The evil thing about those weasel words:
You won't even notice until you embed scanning for this particular trick into your consumption habit and even then it's tricky as hell.

@GreenRoc Decolonization (and yes, rejecting capitalist propaganda and headcages is part of decolonization) is a life-long process for anyone who grew up in a fascist society. I am still unlearning junk they fed me as a child, despite being a 46 year old anarchist who has ready a couple thousand books and papers on the subject. (Not an exaggeration.)

@AnarchoNinaWrites Fuck. I have been failing forever at finding entrance to the GOP are absolutely working to and have rigged elections conversation in a world where people are conditioned by tribalism to instantly attack the notion that any of our elections have been rigged. Almost everyone that I know that would hesitate to call out GOP election rigging would also use the accusation-confession line for so many things. Thank you for this.

@AnarchoNinaWrites Not that I particularly want to make this sound like a conspiracy (it's very clearly true) but it's also worth noting that search engines getting actively worse (say, google) is a strict win for them in this.

If you can't trivially bring up historical cases that show things so incredibly obviously, people might entertain doubts. Does that mean google wanted this? Probably not, but does mean the regulators aren't in a rush to fix that problem, either.
