   When this happened to Spinster the fediverse was like “lol u deserved it bitch, stop discriminating against trans people”. Now it’s almost like, uhhhh, maybe we should try to have some solidarity when we’re a small movement up against huge opponents who will do everything in their power to hose us out.

     Well, I would not categorize and stereotype in the way that article does. An app that was generating more complaints was removed. Regardless of whether the app's participants are feminist or straight up misandrist, high complaint volume leads to app removal. And high complaint volume for the removal without valid reasoning also gets removed. It's how the internet works.
