Evolution is a good replacement for outlook (it does everything outlook does better, except for the "being easily exploited" part).
Libreoffice calc can also replace excel just fine in most situations, the only proprietary problem is proprietary macro support (but you don't want to be running those anyway). -

Very nice free software mirror btw, the only drawback is the proprietary distros. -
