     @meeper Indian food is easily the best example of this done properly, because there is plenty of indian dishes that I willingly order and enjoy.

     A dish made to be made without meat is good (lots of pasta is like this too), because its made to be made with such ingredients.

     Vegan burgers, or god forbid, vegan hotdogs are the inventions of crazy people.

     @meeper The thing that annoys me about is it is that it is fundamentally a lie, you can’t really make a meat alternative. Just make good food without meat in it, lots of such meals exist. Trying to be like, “vegetarian chili” is impossible. Just make something else.

     It has to stop.

     at least try to make something that complements whatever slop you made instead ofusing it as a meat cope
     
     like I think i'd prefer shuddh shakahari biryani with soya chunks instead of it with meat
