   So many of these "self made" youtubers have rich parents or other connections that helped them build their brands. They're also willing to market themselves in whorish ways that the majority of people have too much self respect to do. Every time I see someone like Hasan, all I see is a dirty little slut

     @SIC_Guy @PraxisOfEvil Perhaps as a streamer. There are some video tubers who are cool and seem mostly self made. Project Farm has money, but not "I'm filthy rich with inherited millions" money. Middle class dude who probably has a good job as an engineer or something and bought a hobby farm.

     @SIC_Guy @PraxisOfEvil Idk if the idea ever really was. When it was novel it was a good trend, but it was like a thing you'd do as a hobby that could possibly earn a bit of cash. Always the pareto distribution and the best always earned the lions share, with the best of those dwarfing the others.
