the issue is the cameras that only look good if you directly use the camera app. use anything else that uses a camera viewfinder and you get ass quality. but there ARE things to fix this, but you only find them on expensive android phones from samsung or Google, because other oems dont give a shit to implement that

@mischievoustomato @alex @verita84_uwu You can grab gcam off of many third party sites to side load and have a better quality camera. I had an LG 10 years back that took amazing photos, but everything today is more AI and algo/software reliant than hardware. Cheaper to produce and gives similar results. Except my 10 year old phone took better pics than most modern ones...

lg had very nice phpnes geared towards media production and consumption. sadly, they died.
sony has filled that niche, but their phones are very expensive due to not targetting a mass consumer market, and i wouldn't get them also because they do annoying shit if you unlock the bootloader.
also, yeah gcam, but im on a mediakek phone and I am yet to find a proper gcam port for these phones

@mischievoustomato @alex @verita84_uwu the main reason I'm motopilled is because I use my phone camera twice a year and don't want to pay for a camera
I think my next phone is gonna be an 8849 Tank 3
