   @djlink huh, sounds like Beeper was merely ahead of the curve.

   My ideal solution would be a self hosted Matrix server with bridges allowing me to interact with the major chat clients, but groupchats really are essential in all this.

   (Like so - https://github.com/beeper/self-host?tab=readme-ov-file - I'm not sure about its new successor system, as I just learned about it looking this up.)
