     You are not the asshole. But you are wrong both in terms of false equivelance as well as ad reductio absurdum. You were not an asshole, but you were wrong.

     Now that isnt to say that the USA is right. No we are very much guilty of creating more suffering. But to imply it is remotely comparable to Hitler is just not a fair comparison.

     @freemo but you're right: we only killed 500,000 enemy combatants; the rest were secondary results from destroying systems, economies, governments, and all the economic sanctions, etc--secondary effects. More like the Holodomor Bloodlands than a systematic genocide. Yay, America!

     As I said, you arent being an asshole. Despite disagreeing with the extreme to which you depicted it we are in agreement on the based point about the USA. No worries, we were good regardless.
