     When you send a reply to a thread Pemorla usually reaches out to the instances of all interested parties and retrieves the missing posts, I often don't see the early posts in threads unless I take part in the myself.
     It's not the case when the author of the thread is someone you follow, but it is when it's someone you've never interacted with. Plorema seems lazy about retrieving posts from instances it hasn't heard of before :marseysuspicious:

     @feld @m0xEE @kirby @sampo so far my advertisement in arcade center and in the bar and at the job brought more normies to the network than questionable MRs that change how URLs work.
     
     The unfortunate truth is that normies just don't care for social media, period. They most likely found something to communicate with their friends and that's it. We can be the backup, as we always were.

     Same when you attempt to stay in touch with people at the cost of doing things you're uncomfortable with.
     People on messengers usually aren't exactly friends, friends who care about you will have no problem using whatever means of communication you are comfortable with — those who insist e.g. on staying of Facebook no matter what can be safely discarded in most cases 🤷
