   @ryanhoulihan Funny story, I'm 3/4 of the way through a rewatch of the movie right now. Haven't seen the remake yet, but looking forward to it as Donald Glover tends to rock whatever he's in.

   Is the original super hetero-normative? Yes. Does it care? Nope. It’s got one joke, wife superior to husband. Is it still fun? Yes. Do I care how reductive it is? No. Do I believe their relationship after my own 20+ years of marriage and seeing many friends’ ups and downs in marriage? Mostly, yeah…

     @ryanhoulihan Indeed it is, and it pokes every other trope in the eye just by acknowledging it. Especially the late ‘90s to mid ‘00s spy actioneers that it skewers so verywell. That camp layer is well earned and delivered.
