   “AI” can’t do any work.

   Work is either manual labor or intellectual work; or a combination of both.

   AI doesn’t physically exist and does not possess intelligence or creativity; thus it can do neither.

   If used to generate things, it’s still a human telling it to, deciding to do so and ultimately being responsible for it. This is an extremely important quality of it that is totally lost on so many people.

     @thomasfuchs - When somebody can feed everything we know about physics and engineering into a computer, and that computer then generates a novel, reliable, and energy- and cost-efficient fusion reactor, then I think we will have achieved useful #AI.
