     that would also work! but do I have to look out for something? I think the phones to negotiations with the chargers to determine charging speed? so a dumb cable without such lanes would always charge slow maybe?

     Charging devices works great. Important to know: If a laptop is to be charged via USB-C, the plug must be plugged into the laptop and not between the power supply unit and the cable. This is because the power supply unit must communicate with the cable to determine up to which power the cable is suitable. If the blocker is plugged into the laptop and the cable is plugged directly into the power supply unit, then up to 100 watts will flow (see image). However, if the plug is plugged into the power supply unit and only then is the cable connected, the output is only approx. 15 watts.

     It's suspicious.
     We have no photos posted by the people who already bough it.
     They insist on transparency with "blocking" components
     We have no view of the inside of the connectors to check if the data pins are physically absents due to the pics being entirely just pc renders.
     There's a good chance you'll receive something that has the same channels and that they either added a fake way for data to not look like it's transmitted or they added something that will infect potential customers.

     Pros:
     - Can't get hacked
     - Charges A LOT faster
     Cons:
     - Can't download your nudes from your phone to the public library computer.
     
     Going to a country with a different socket standard than your country's? No problem, get a fucking adapter :kekw:
