     @ArdainianRight @Meemoo @William_The_Dragonborn @takao I've seen people claim that Gael'gar was somehow oppressed or discriminated against pre-Telethiacaust, but there's zero in-game evidence of that, dude was 100% just Triggered by "microaggressions" and hated all Big Wings because of it. Which seems very true-to-life.

     @Meemoo @William_The_Dragonborn @takao A bunch of quality of life and performance improvements were all extremely welcome. Fashion Mode was a Godsend. The main character glowups were damn nice. Stuff like remastered music (while still maintaining all the original songs as an option) was super cool as well.
     
     I *do* consider Future Connected to only be mid in terms of story, but it DID make available a really cool "new" area (actually an old area that got cut from the original game), and the new battle theme was Godlike:

     @Meemoo @William_The_Dragonborn @takao I played Xenoblade Wii VERY extensively, the Switch remaster is a straight upgrade in every way, beyond some arguable interface spoilers and a certain female character no longer showing butt crack in on of her fanservice outfits (all the fanservice is otherwise intact).
