     @givenup @dave I set the timer for Mac n cheese because I like to pull it off right before minimum time so that I can mess with it further without it getting gummy in the pan.

     @BowsacNoodle @dave my oven has that built in, i don't think i've ever used a timer for something i had on the range tho, you just look at it it's like 'looks done to me' and i've made it 37 years, so i guess i did it well enough.

     @givenup @dave S'all good. I have kids so I can cook Mac n cheese while cutting up veggies and fruits and setting the table and getting drinks and asking them to wash their hands 12 times and asking them to keep their hands to themselves 4 times and etc.
