   remember when i said that i was interested in going to a maid cafe because in addition to them pretending to be interested in me, i'd also be pretending to be interested in them?

     @nik @cell butlers have different vibe. Not that I dislike it, but... They are also more of "in charge" traditionally. I prefer being the one who does the work, not the one who commands (and does the work)

     @hj @nik IMHO for butler cafes honestly i feel like you can get the same experience, with actual fancy food and drink, in nice bars and restaurants tbh, at least that was my experience
     
     the restaurant where i had my bday last year had a really cute well dressed waiter, service was excellent, but it's now closed :akko_cry:

     @hj @nik there's literally a japanese whisky bar here which flies in staff from japan and is designed to emulate some fancy place in ginza, they're all dapper and excellent
     
     i would go but i don't have any friends rich enough and willing yet, S$30-40 per drink :blobcateyes:
