@thomasfuchs I want to say that the "barrier" was "$5000" and this was probably some small amount under, say $4985. But that is Windows 3ish so that might be the era of $10,000 color laptops, so like $9,995

yeh I'm actually not sure I could figure out how to spend that much on a laptop. & I'm not sure I'd actually want to use the one I could spend that on - it'd probably be some exotic ruggedized beast that could heat a room. (I haven't priced high-end laptops in quite a while so I could be way off the market.) -
