   Hey there fediverse. I found this thing in with my mom's sewing stuff. There's only one, it has a slit in the end with the circle. Any idea what it is? A bobbin? Floss spool? shuttle?

     @Agatha @KarenDorman @sewing @crochet -- LOL, you inferred that other generations don't sew or crochet when no such thing occurred.
     What is implied is that there are a bunch of older generation on Facebook and it may be a simple thing to ask over there for a quick answer.
     For not being a boomer, you sure think like a boomer.

     Might be time to stop digging there, buddy.

     When the fibre arts crowd gets annoyed, we go from zero to scorched earth very quickly. And ageism is something we've really had it with, for what I hope are obvious reasons.
