@augustus Oh... I like Meddle... :cooldog:
The reason I ask is because Pink Floyd had so many changes in creative direction over almost 60 years, that you could easily argue that the name can refer to effectively five different bands (as well as a couple glorified Roger Waters and David Gilmour solo albums, The Final Cut and The Endless River respectively).
A lot of people who don't care for Dark Side of the Moon really like the Early Syd Barrett Stuff (Piper at the Gates of Dawn, etc; which is my favorite PF album for the record), some people think Atom Heart Mother is pretentious cow shit (pun intended), others consider it a masterpiece.
But I get that it's not for everyone, and PF as a whole has gotten way way too overrated in recent years.
"Patrician," music types have latched onto it as the "new Beatles" in recent years, and it's poisoned the well something bad, so I get it.

@augustus I can respect that ranking. I always kinda disliked Gilmour, he's a talented guitarist, but his songwriting is boring as hell.
Barrett was the most creative of all of them, acid or no acid; it's a shame he went nuts, but we can't change the past. Waters was also very good, if a bit of an egomaniac; although I have to respect him for his anti-war, anti-Zionism, and pro-Assange activism, he's a standup guy.
