   @db0 @GossiTheDog I can confirm it happens 💀

   I made a module for a portal that was itself a module for phpbb, and my module broke during a major update of phpbb while I was not maintaining my module anymore because I stopped using the portal and phpbb. An Italian company I never heard of before threatened of suing me to bankruptcy. I was 19 👶

     @GossiTheDog I heard horror stories of companies trying to sue FOSS developers because the software caused failed somehow and caused them monetary damages
