     @aris For my visa to India my gender options were male, female, and transgender.

     Transgender isn't incorrect, and the others are both wrong, so fine, whatever, at least there's a third option, but pretty rude to binary trans people.

     @ryanc Yes I agree. I meant that having the option to not have your gender in a database that does not require it is better than having to fill incorrect or insulting information

     @drdnar I think this may be geofenced to India. I'm not seeing those settings now that I'm in the UK again.

     @ryanc [sigh] Trans is not a gender unto itself. I suspect that transmen and transwomen feel they have very different genders.
