   I was told that if we didn't preach the gospel to our friends, it would be our fault if they went to hell. I lost one of the best friendships I've ever had over that. That's a pretty traumatic thing for an elementary school kid.

     You can’t. You’re the perfect example of the #alttextmafia that shame and harass people using Mastodon if their posts aren’t exactly as you want them. It is people exactly like you that will be the end of Mastodon. I didn’t even want to share this item BECAUSE OF PEOPLE EXACTLY LIKE YOU. That means that content was NOT shared because of you.

     BTW:
     The Alt-Texts for these images were auto-generated using the link the Mastodon Software provides to OCR in the Alt-Text-editor.
     It can't get easier than that.

     What a shabby "excuse" for simply being an egoistic Ableist.

     The effort to create proper Alt-Texts is minimal. One has 1500(!) characters and longer image-texts can be split as seen here:

     You’re only doing the text and not describing the images. You are then also using the alt-text field to ADD content that isn’t in the image.
     You are the worst hypocrite on Mastodon.

     Yes of course. You have your reasons. Be it the lie that the Alt-Text input field "is too small" or that you prefer to use gadgets of a company that locks you into their products while restricting even Copy and Paste ... something other computer were able to do since the 1980s.

     Not sharing something because you are scared of the "@AltTextMafia" - that's a new one and actually really funny. 🤣
     Now you're spamming my ~300 images for imperfect Alt-Texts.
