"Now Hungary remains the last country to delay the process of NATO enlargement."
Gee, can't imagine why Trump was gush-praising Orban at his rallies, about what a "tough, strong, smart" guy he is. Did he also pick up the phone and say, VOTE NO?

Hungary and Slovakia are both bordering Ukraine, and are creating turbulence within NATO. The Poles are hung out to dry if those two go so far as to violate the NATO compact. This is a spreading disease, and it's better if they're issued an ultimatum to stay in, sooner rather than later. They're providing cover for Putin on Ukraine's western border, not a front...until it's a front.
Our support of Ukraine is important enough that if it is lost, the new 'Russian (USSR)' borders may not be at Ukraine's limit, but all the way west so as to be up against Czechia, down to the Adriatic states.
If they want NATO protection, a nation must also provide NATO support.
One last word. Between Sweden and Hungary, we need Sweden more. They have advanced military capability, and I have no idea what Hungary has, other than to say an authoritarian's army is normally riddled with graft and hardware theft..
@skydog
Agreed

@GottaLaff
Also true.
@skydog We need Hungary in order to get Sweden

Anyone owned by Putin can't be in NATO. That makes the alliance a joke. Both these countries must be expelled. NATO can't allow this sabotage with all the pieces moving right now. We must have a strong alliance. I hope there are some mechanism built in to the rules that allow this. If not, it's time to update the charter or whatever. Turkey too while they are at it.
