   @hilljam Seems like they have old roots in the Pirate movement, which imo is promising - they will have thought about copyright and the arts in the digital age for a long time.

   Also, that means @rasmusfleischer might know more, possibly?

     i just learned about DiGiDi and got very excited about it

     it's a cooperative digital distributor / aggregator for getting your music online — owned by the people who use it. nonprofit / democratic / transparent / looks amazing at first blush:
