    I don't know exactly when it landed that Firefox mobile gained the ability to install arbitrary extensions but I suggest you walk and don't run in the direction of consent-o-matic

    I've been waiting for this for a long time (ublock origin has already been available on a preapproved list as of several years ago but if you missed that then obviously grab it too)

      @jbiserkov right, as far as I'm concerned there's no such thing as Firefox for iOS; the thing they ship that actually gets past Apple's dipshit restrictions is a sham

      Don't give me hope. When you say Firefox Mobile, you mean on Android. On iPhone we get
      "Add-ons are not compatible with Firefox for iOS. Try installing them on Firefox for desktop."
      Hopefully that changes someday, when the EU finally forces Apple to allow real browsers that aren't just skins over Safari.

      @m455 we don't have GDPR here either but we still have plenty of cookie popups anyway

      all the downsides and none of the upsides, basically
