unfortunately that might just be what the vast majority of people supports.

eg. back in last february Beijing's CDC got a lot of backlash and anger just for saying something like "please test for covid if your kids have symptoms and do not come to school if positive", so they stopped mentioning covid at all for the next term in fall.
