   I’m pretty sure I hear about arctic temperatures in Chicago every 2-3 years. ( @geniusmusing can probably give a better estimate ) If these vehicles are only usable in the warm season, they’re useless.

     I can't find a source but for at least the past 10 (or more) or so years there has been at least a few days to couple of weeks where the temps are below 0F.
     
     Found a source for 2010 to 2022, except for 2012 (+6F for a low of the year) they are all 0 or below.
