     Height never mattered, having a decent job did. Funny and Intelligence are my two top requirements and didn't like overweight men. I love to laugh and have meaningful conversations.

     When I went out with friends, I'd dance by myself before I'd dance with a phony!

     He can take care of himself financially and be fiscal. I made more money than a lot of the men I dated. I was never desperate to find a partner, so that made it easier to be picky.

     My current dh is an Engineer.
     We are both retired and started our own company with a product he designed. We are still struggling to make money with it, yet no reason to give up!

     He has many patents, yet the companies owned them.

     5'11", I'm 5'8". His height wasn't a factor. We actually met online in 97 and have been together since.

     most women want their man to make as much as them or more.
     most women want their man to be as tall as them or taller.

     very much women say numbers like
     minimum $100k per year and minimum 6 feet tall

     what they don't know is that this disqualifiesat least 80% of men (in the united states).

     Yup, on both counts. Which is why their relationships do not last. At least I grew up during the time frame that most men were not losers. They worked and wanted to be the provider.

     Today and the last couple of generations have been neglected or spoiled and no longer have the character to accomplish this. It is a sad fact and I watched it happen.
