     @thomasfuchs the desk accessories around the SPARCstation catch my eye. A calendar? A "missed phone call" pad? Mail and stamps? Shouldn't all of these be widgets on the computer screen?

     @carcosa @th @thomasfuchs Those pizza box cases with a giant workstation monitor on top are still the platonic ideal of "computer" in my head. I'm not saying we should go back to giant CRTs so that pizza box desktops make sense again, but... maybe we should?
