Does anyone know what this type of cable is called? it’s for charging a device I have (there’s no audio and no data involved)

Maybe it’s because it supports variable voltage charging as there’s an optional mini solar panel for it, which is probably just a dumb panel.

(I'm intimately familiar with the iPod Shuffle 1G, and I designed in one of these TRRS USB interfaces, in part as an homage, for another project in 2010.)
