I do not advertise my own instances because they are purposed for specifics such as property taxes, 3D printing and such. I like it when only people who are using them visit. I pay for the VPS out of pocket, I install, upgrade, back them up by hand, they use my own BIND stack - I could not afford to many users.
I am not a fan of large nodes with people too arrogant and ignorant to give a shit about my purpose. The Fedi is full of people who think Free Speech = being insufferable.

It's interesting when large instances shut down, especially those with long histories.
While I do not know the whole lore of the NAS, or No Agenda Social, instance, I have had a few people from there who I interact with and follow. People who make better posts than I do (low bar, I'm afraid) and seem interesting and dedicated to their community and the podcast that they subscribe to.
I have never listened to an episode of No Agenda, but I have seen the art contests for thumbnail art for episodes and thought that was fun and interesting and a lot of great and often funny art came out of that.
And while I do not know much about your podcast of choice or your community, I do know a little bit about being on a large fediverse instance that shuts down after a few years. It's tough, it sucks. People you enjoy joking around with will quit the fediverse entirely. Members who do stay on the fediverse will be spread out over 25 different instances and you will run across them weeks or months later.
No Agenda Social members, you have an opportunity to export your follows and refollow them after your instance is closed and also you have a set time and date for your instance to be shut down, so that you can coordinate amongst your friends and mutuals as to where you will be posting from after your instance shuts down. Take this opportunity to do those things.
The world keeps getting smaller. Godspeed.
